Kurt Vile kommt aus Philadelphia und ist mit seinem Solo-Projekt bei MatadorRecords unter Vertrag. Dort heißt es:
"to dub the album “psych pop” barely scratches the surface of a work that’s as impossibly catchy as it is wildly experimental."
